This massive structure has kept up with the times and is now recognized as a key Chicago hub for technological innovation. Environmentally sensitive renovations by management have resulted in the Merchandise Mart’s Gold LEED certification, while lavish Art Deco ornamentation has always made this "city within a city" a visual delight. After the 45-minute tour you will have an hour and half to explore. Lunch is on your own, feel free to eat at Mezza Mediterranean Grill, Potbelly Sandwich Shop, Nick’s Fishmarket, Artisan Cellar, etc., which are located in the building. Save some time to visit the shops on the 1st and 2nd floors or to visit the showrooms on the 3rd floor which are open to the public. (Registration deadline is Jan 18)

Boeing Boeing at the Metropolis Theater & Mago Grill for Lunch
(Anticipate minimal walking) Location - Arlington Heights
Soar into this hysterical farce set in 1960’s Paris. Confident bachelor, Bernard, prides himself on being able to discretely maneuver his three globe-hopping flight attendant fiancées. With the help of his impeccable scheduling ability and his begrudging house keeper, Bernard has successfully kept them apart until now. Buckle in for a bumpy ride! Our day will begin with lunch. We enjoyed Mago Grill so much last time that we have decided to go back for their fresh guacamole, steak fajitas, chicken enchiladas mole sauce, rice, beans, and fresh handmade churros.
