Can residents and businesses choose not to participate?
Yes, residents and small businesses may opt-out of the program. Before the program begins on June 1 2015, all residents and small businesses will receive a notice in the mail from the Village of Niles allowing the customer to opt-out of the program by a certain date. Opting out is done by mail or over the phone with IDT Energy (1-877-887-6866).
