[ARCHIVED] Epay Now Available for Residents Wanting to Pay Water Bill Online

The wait is over! Residents will now be able to pay their water bills online using the State of Illinois Epay system.

“There was a large demand for this service and we are happy to be able to offer Epay to the
residents of Niles,” Communications Coordinator Hayley Garard said.

The service is anticipated to make payments more convenient for residents by allowing
them to visit the Village website at www.vniles.com, click on the Epay icon on the home
page, and follow the step by step instructions to easily pay their bill.

The system accepts Visa, Master Card and Discover credit cards and debit cards. There is a
convenience fee charged by the State of $1 for payments $40 and under. Payments over
$40 will be charged a 2.35% convenience fee by the State.

“Using Epay for our water bills is just the first step,” said Finance Director Scot Neukirch.
“Eventually we plan on making many more Village service payments available from the
website.”

Residents that do not wish to use Epay can continue to pay their water bill by mail or in
person at Village Hall located at 1000 Civic Center Drive.
