[ARCHIVED] Coca-Cola Recycling Education Vehicle Comes to Niles Tomorrow

Great news for Niles residents interested in recycling! Coca-Cola’s Recycling Education Vehicle (REV) will be in Niles on Thursday, October 16 from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in the Niles Family Fitness Center parking lot. This event is perfect for residents who have received their new recycling carts and would like to learn more about the benefits of recycling and how they can recycle at home. Coca-Cola’s REVs travel the nation bringing consumers valuable information on recycling in a fun and interactive environment.
The van contains games (Recycling Trivia, a Recycling Process Display, a Hand-on Bottle Display, Pedal Power Interactive, and a Touchscreen Video Game), videos and prizes. The goal of this vehicle is to provide Niles residents with recycling education to raise recycling rates. Bring a can or plastic bottle to recycle and get rewarded with prizes made from recycled PET plastic bottles. Join us Thursday to learn more.
