Niles, Illinois - The Niles Police Department in partnership with the Des Plaines and Park Ridge Police Departments is proud to announce Fashion Police: Prom Possible Event.

Prom is a rite of passage for all high school girls. The Niles, Park Ridge, and Des Plaines Police Departments will be collecting formal prom gowns and brides maids dresses for our version of Fashion Police: Prom Possible.

The Niles, Des Plaines, and Park Ridge Police Departments will be collecting dresses through the month of March. If you have formal prom gowns, brides maids dresses, or accessories that you are no longer using, this is a great way to clear out closet space or your store’s inventory to make a young high school girls dream come true! Your donations will be going to high school girls who live in Des Plaines, Niles, or Park Ridge who may need assistance to make their prom dream possible.

Please drop off your gently used, clean dresses or accessories at the Des Plaines, Niles, or Park Ridge Police Department lobbies, which are open 24 hours a day.

Then on April 6, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the dresses will be distributed at the Niles Senior Center at 999 Civic Center Drive. Participants must show proof of residency or high school ID from high from Niles, Park Ridge, and Des Plaines.

Please address any inquires, questions, or information requests Sergeant Robert Tornabene at 847-588-6505.

Make her dreams come true!
