[ARCHIVED] Debit Card Phone Scam Scam Alert

There have been several recent attempts by an automated system calling residents in the village and saying their "Debit Card has been deactivated".

This is a scam and is a phishing attempt to gather your personal information and either steal your credit card information or to fraudulently open up credit accounts under your name. Do not interact with these calls. If you feel you have been a victim of this scam, and your gave out personal information over the telephone. Please call the police department. Again this is a scam.

More information is available from the First Interstate Bank website.
