[ARCHIVED] 2007 Niles 4th of July Celebration

The Village of Niles will be sponsoring a Fourth of July Parade on Wednesday, July 4, starting at 9 a.m. The parade will commence at Notre Dame High School and proceed to Grennan Heights Park. The parade route is as follows:
South on Ozark to Main - East on Main to Harlem -
South on Harlem to Monroe - West on Monroe to Oketo

Due to the bus line-up for parade units, there will be no parking along the parade route and along Keeney to Kedzie from Olcott to Odell and along the streets bordering Grennan Heights Recreation Center at 8255 Oketo Avenue until 2 p.m.

The Niles Park District is sponsoring activities at Grennan Heights Park. A full line of entertainment, including The Fabulous Murray Brothers, children games, face painting, safety information tent, pony rides, and characters has been scheduled following the parade from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Grennan Heights Park.
