[ARCHIVED] Teen- Mall Lock-in and Job Shadow Day

2nd Annual “Night-In-The-Mall” Lock-In
Come to Golf Mill Shopping Mall for our 2nd Annual “Night-In-The-Mall” Lock-In Party. This will be one night you will never forget. Scheduled activities will include a professional DJ and dancing, appetizers by Elephant Bar Restaurant, a free midnight movie at Kerasotes Showplace 12 Theatre, organized games and tournaments (DDR, Guitar Hero, Relay Races), late night pizza, breakfast buffet, a free event T-Shirt, a “Free Expressions” art wall, and tons of prizes. This event will be supervised by staff from the Niles Teen Center, the Golf Mill Management Office, and Golf Mill Security. Bring a sleeping bags and pillow, if you’re thinking about sleeping. Concessions will be available at the theatre during the movie, so bring extra money. You can vote for the T-Shirt logo design contest at Golf Mill's center court from May 4 through May 15.

Night-In-The-Mall is open to Teen Center members only. You must be a member by Friday, May 29. Space is limited; sign up now!!!

Doors open at 9:15 p.m.- no entry after 9:45 p.m.
No exit and no re-entry (that’s why it’s called a Lock-In and not a Lock-out, Silly!)

5th Annual Job Shadow Day
The Niles Chamber of Commerce and the Niles Teen Center are collaborating for our 5th Annual Job Shadow Day for teens in Niles. Selected students will be matched by their career interests with local businesses and government employees. Youth will arrive by parent at the work place at 9:00 a.m. and will be picked up by village employees at 12:00 noon. Teens will be brought back to the Teen Center for lunch, evaluations, and debriefing of their shadow experiences. Applications are now available online and at the Teen Center.
