Craft Project- Tues. Oct. 23- TP Mummies & Black Cats- 4:00-5:30 pm
Join Maddie in making some cool Halloween projects using toilet paper tubes, construction paper and paint.
Game Tournament- Wed. Oct. 24- PS4 Injustice- 4:30-6:00 pm
Most Wednesdays at 4:30 p.m., the Teen Center staff will set up tournaments for video games and table games like Foosball, Air Hockey, Darts, NBA2K16 or Call of Duty 3. Prizes may be awarded to winners.
Girls Check-In- Friday Oct. 26- 4:15-5:00 pm
Spend a little time chatting with Maria Escobar or play a game with her.
Teen Center CLOSED on Wed. October 31
The Teen Center will be CLOSED on Halloween. Enjoy your time trick or treating with family and friends.
Open early for D63 Early Dismissal Days- Friday November 2 at 11:45 am
Approximately once a month, D63 has an early dismissal for students for teacher in-service training. On these days, the Teen Center will be open at 11:45 am.
Ice Skating at Iceland Ice Rink (No School- D63/D207)
Deadline Thurs Nov. 1- $3 each
Join the Teen Center staff as we enjoy a day of ice skating at the Niles Park District’s Iceland Ice Rink during their Open Skate hours. We will walk from Golf Mill to Iceland and skate from 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. The Teen Center will be open to skating participants only from 12:00 to 2:45 p.m. if they choose not to go home after ice skating.

iFly (Indoor Skydiving) Trip- Deadline Thurs. Nov. 1- $65 each
Have you ever wanted to go skydiving but were too afraid to jump out of a plane? You can join us as we head to iFly in Rosemont for some indoor skydiving. The trip will include 2 Scout Flights, transportation and supervision. This trip may depart from a
location other than the Niles Teen Center. Trip offered with the Park Ridge Park District.

Friday, November 2- Teen “In-House” Movie Night- 7:00pm to $9:00 pm- $4 each
Come to the Teen Center for Teen Movie Nights. Stop by or call to recommend a teen movie. All movies will be PG or PG-13. Additional snacks and drinks will be available for purchase. Fee goes toward additional supervision. No sign-up prior to event is necessary.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (PG-13 Action- 2 hours 10 min)- Now lying in ruins in its jungle environs, the former Jurassic World theme park is still home to the abandoned dinosaurs. Ocean’s 8 (PG-13 Crime/Action-1 hour 50 min)- The tide has turned and it’s a whole new “Ocean’s”. Danny Ocean’s sister, Debbie Ocean, recruits a seven woman crew to plan and execute the heist of the century at New York City’s star-studded annual Met Gala. (Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling)
Skyscraper- (PG-13-Action- 1 hour 40 min)- Former FBI Hostage Rescue Team leader and U.S. war veteran Will Sawyer now assesses security for skyscrapers. He’s on assignment in China when he finds the tallest, safest building in the world suddently ablaze, and he’s been framed for it. A wanted man on the run, Will must find those responsible, clear his name and somehow rescue his family, who are trapped inside the building, above the fire line. (Dwayne Johnson, Neve Campbell)
Toys for Tots Program and Food Drive
The Niles Teen Center, in cooperation with the Village of Niles, will participate in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves “Toys for Tots” program. We will be collecting toys to be distributed to less fortunate children in the Chicagoland area. Please do not bring any stuffed animals or home-made items. All toys must be in their original packaging and no gift wrapping. We will also be collecting non-perishable food items for the Niles Food Pantry.

Bring a Friend Fridays- Friday November 9
On a selected Friday each month, if a current member brings a friend as a guest, both teens will receive a free soda and bag of chips. If the guest, purchases a membership, the current member and new member will receive a $10 gift certificate for Kappy’s or $5 gift certificate to Subway or Gloria Jeans Coffee.
Niles-Maine District Library- upcoming teen programs
Watercolor for Teens-Sunday, October 28, 2:00-3:30pm-Grades 7-12-Learn to watercolor with local artist Victoria Peleranos, a recent graduate of the American Academy of Art. Leave with a completed picture. All supplies provided.
Family Game Night (VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY)-Thursday, November 8, 5:30-7:00pm-Grades 7-12- Help us celebrate International Gaming Week with family tabletop gaming fun. We need volunteers to set up the games and coach new players. Call 847-663-6490 or email teen@nileslibrary.org to volunteer.
Teen Game Night-Thursday, November 8, 7:15-8:45pm-Grades 7-12-Celebrate International Gaming Week by geeking out with board games and friends. After the family fun wraps up at 7:00pm, head down to the Teen Underground for this event just for teens.

You will be sent an email with a link to reset your password. Type your password, verify your password and click submit.

You are now able to enter all Family Account Information
With your online account, you will be able to register and pay online for events and activities like movie night and trips. However, you will not be able to renew your membership. Memberships must be renewed in person through the Teen Center office.
Policy and Procedure Manual
Teen Center staff has developed a policy and procedure manual. The information included is intended for teens and parents, as well as staff, explaining our standard procedures of operation and explaining behavior expectations and consequences for teen participants.

ID cards REQUIRED for TC Attendance
Remember, ALL Teens are REQUIRED to have and USE their teen center ID cards to CHECK-IN to the facility. Any need for a reprinted ID will be $5 each. If you don’t have your ID, you will create more work for Mark and he will have to manually check you in. The new MaxGalaxy software does not allow members to bypass the ID scanner, therefore ALL TEENS MUST USE THEIR ID CARDS TO CHECK-IN. Thanks!
