In the summer months during extremely hot weather, the Human Services building is a cooling center during regular business hours.
The cooling center hours are:
Niles Senior Center 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
Fitness Center 5:30am - 10:00pm Monday through Thursday; 5:30am - 9:00pm Friday; 7:00am - 5:00pm Saturday and Sunday.
After hours, residents call non-emergency police at 847-588-6500. In an emergency, dial 9-1-1.
The Family Services Department can also provide food, personal hygiene supplies and clothing. After hours residents can contact 847-588-8460 and ask to speak with a Crisis Worker for additional support.
