UPDATE 5/29/2018 - On Wednesday, May 30, there will be no access to northbound Waukegan Road from Milwaukee Avenue. It will be reopened at day's end. The construction work causing this closure is weather permitting, and is a part of the Morton Grove-Niles Water Commission water main construction project. 5/3/2018 - Traffic on Waukegan Road is currently reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction between Milwaukee and Niles Terrace, with all traffic shifted to the west half of the street. Morton Grove Niles Water Commission water main construction in the area will begin in earnest the week of May 7. This work is planned to take approximately a month and a half, weather permitting. The motoring public should allow additional time when traveling through this area.
