Spring Break- Adjusted Hours- 2:00- 6:00 pm- 3/21 through 3/24
Spring Break for Maine East High School and East Maine SD 63 is Monday March 20- Friday, March 24
The Teen Center will be Open Tuesday through Friday from 2:00- 6:00 pm
Please make sure that you are picked up no later than 6:00 pm during this week
STEAM Project- Tuesday March 28- 4:00- 6:00
Science- Crystal Names
On most Tuesdays, staff will offer projects related to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math). These could include science experiments, art drawings, or construction of a marble run.
Crystal Names- Using pipe cleaners to write your name in cursive, we will then use Borax, food coloring and water to form crystals on your name. You can use your crystal name for a decoration in your room.
Speaker Series- Thursday, March 30- 4:00- 5:00 pm- Magician
Gary Kantor, Magician, will offer a demonstration of some magic tricks and slight of hand. If you’re lucky, he may even teach you how to do some tricks yourself!!
Laser Quest Trip- Deadline Tuesday, March 28- $40
Join us as we travel to Laser Quest in Arlington Heights. Play a game of laser tag, take a pizza break and go right back out for another game! Transportation and adult supervision is provided. This trip may depart from a location other than the Niles Teen Center. Trip offered with Park Ridge Park District.

Girls Group- Continues Wednesday, March 29 from 4:00- 5:00 pm
Have you had a rough week at school? Are you juggling too many responsibilities and feeling stressed? Having a conflict with a friend? Or maybe you just want to share ideas with other teens? If you answered yes to any of these questions, please join us for group! Girls group is Wednesdays from 4:00-5:00, and boys group is Thursdays from 4:00-5:00.
These groups are designed to meet the social and emotional needs of teens. They focus on improving self-esteem/self-image, communication skills, conflict resolution, reducing stressors and addressing other challenges teens face. The groups are facilitated by Nicole Espinoza and Darren Brown of Niles Family Services.

Game Tournament- Air Hockey- Friday, March 31 - 4:00-6:00 pm
Most Fridays at 4:00 p.m., the Teen Center staff will set up tournaments for video games and table games like Foosball, Air Hockey, Darts, NBA2K16 or Call of Duty 3. Prizes may be awarded to winners.
Boys Group- Continues Thursday, April 6 from 4:00- 5:00 pm
Funtopia Trip- Deadline Thursday, April 6- $40 each
Hope on the bus and join other teens as we head over to the Glen in Glenview for fun indoor climbing and jumping on climbing walls, high ropes course and slides. Then make your own pizza at My Pie for lunch. Price includes admission to Funtopia, lunch, supervision and transportation. This trip may depart from a location other than the Niles Teen Center. Trip offered with Skokie Park District.

K1 Speed- Go Kart Racing Trip- Deadline Wednesday, April 5- $70 each
Go Kart racing will never be the same after racing at K1 Speed in Addison! This indoor track is
designed for a beginner as well as an experienced Go Karter. Race wheel-to-wheel with your friends at speeds approaching 45 mph! Transportation and adult supervision is provided. Must be 4’10” or taller. Bring extra money for food or beverages. This trip may depart from a location other than the Niles Teen Center. Trip offered with Park Ridge Park District.

Click forgot password
Type in the email you verified with the Teen Center
You will be sent an email with a link to reset your password. Type your password, verify your password and click submit.
Click Login to access your account
Click on My Account
You are now able to enter all Family Account Information
With your online account, you will be able to register and pay online for events and activities like movie night and trips. However, you will not be able to renew your membership. Memberships must be renewed in person through the Teen Center office.
Policy and Procedure Manual
Teen Center staff recently developed a policy and procedure manual. The information included is intended for teens and parents, as well as staff, explaining our standard procedures of operation and explaining behavior expectations and consequences for teen participants.

ID cards REQUIRED for TC Attendance
Remember, ALL Teens are REQUIRED to have and USE their teen center ID cards to CHECK-IN to the facility. Any need for a reprinted ID will be $5 each. If you don’t have your ID, you will create more work for Mark and he will have to manually check you in. The new MaxGalaxy software does not allow members to bypass the ID scanner, therefore ALL TEENS MUST USE THEIR ID CARDS TO CHECK-IN. Thanks!
