Please find below information on events and activities taking place at or with the Niles Teen Center in the next couple of weeks.
1) Spring Break Hours- 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm

2) Swimming & Basketball Day (Spring Break)

At this point, we have about 7 teens signed up to attend. Please talk to your friends and sign up!!!
Forms are available outside the Teen Center and are attached.
Forms can be turned in by sliding through the front doors if the Teen Center is not open.
Come join the Niles Teen Center as Nick takes you (using the Niles Free Bus) to the Niles Fitness Center to have fun swimming and playing basketball. You must be at the Teen Center by noon. The bus will not wait if you’re late. Make sure to bring appropriate swimwear (boys must have inside liner in shorts), beach towel and gym shoes, and cash for snacks at the concession stand.

3) Tues. March 29 – Game Tournament-Bumper Pool- 4:00 pm
Most Tuesdays at 4:00p.m., Nick will set up tournaments for video games and table games like Foosball, Air Hockey, Darts, NBA2K16 or Call of Duty 3. Prizes may be awarded to winners.
4) New Donated Bumper Pool Table
The Teen Center accepted the donation of a newer donated bumper pool table. We have installed new bumpers, new balls and new pool cues. The new table has a slate top, which should make game play more smooth. Pictures are Attached
5) Notice: Effective April 1st- rate change for non-residents
and new Software to expand and improve service
Due to a change in the membership software used by the Teen center, effective April 1st, there will be a change in the definition of non-resident. A Non-Niles Resident is any student who does not have a Niles address and will pay $35 per year, regardless of where the child attends school. All Niles Residents will continue to pay the $20 per year fee. These fees are only collected when you renew your membership or someone begins a new membership. This change is necessary due the new software and to bring the Teen Center into better alignment with the policies of the Niles Senior Center and Niles Family Fitness Center.
As we implement the new software, called MaxGalaxy, you will notice changes in our procedures and improved services for you and your family. MaxGalaxy will allow for in-house and online credit card payments, online membership registration, and better email communication.
There will be a transition period to MaxGalaxy. Please be patient with us and as always, thanks for your support.
6) Take the Village of Niles Community Survey
How satisfied are you with your Village Services? You are invited to participate in a survey to help gauge your satisfaction with your experience in Niles. This study is being conducted by the Village, in collaboration with the University of Illinois at Chicago.
This study will help the Village of Niles understand how you view the quality of services you receive from the Village. The Village is especially interested in learning how Village departments impact the overall quality of your life. The results of the survey will be analyzed by students at UIC to objectively advise the Village of Niles which services need more attention.
This survey is completely confidential and should take about 10 minutes to complete. Your participation is voluntary, and you do not have to answer every question. We respectfully ask that you only take the survey once and limit your responses to one per household.
This is the first time the Village of Niles is conducting a study of this nature, so your participation is greatly appreciated!

This includes all types of emergencies such as storms, heat and cold alerts, and any other situation that may put residents at risk.
