History of Village Hall

1971 - Village Hall / Administration Building at the corner of Milwaukee Avenue and Touhy Avenue included police, fire, and circuit court. Later became Niles Chamber of Commerce.
1996 - Village Hall / Administration Building at 7601 N. Milwaukee Avenue
1997 - New Village Hall / Administration Building at 1000 Civic Center Drive

Human Services
The Village of Niles broke ground in 1997 for the construction of a 100,000 square-foot Family Fitness Center scheduled to open in December of 1998. In order to provide a wide scope of leisure services for individuals and families the south portion of the building focuses on recreational facilities.

The north portion of the building are the new home of the existing Human Services Department including Family Services and senior citizen programs. Multipurpose rooms and classrooms will be scheduled with a variety of senior activities. Family Services provides individual and group counseling for adults and children in the community.
