Holly Jolly Market and Festival

The Holly Jolly Market and Tree Lighting includes a wide variety of entertainment including live music, beer and wine, a fire pit, children’s craft activities, horse-drawn carriage rides, a petting zoo and a special market where businesses will be selling holiday wares and food items. The annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held outdoors at 5:30 p.m. followed by a fireworks show.  
This is a free family-friendly event for everyone!

  • Listen to Mrs. Claus tell stories presented by the Niles Arts and Culture Council
  • Bundle up for a ride in a horse-drawn sleigh (sleigh rides are free with a donation to Toys for Tots or a non-perishable food item) and the petting zoo
  • Ride the trackless train
  • Free children's activities and crafts
  • Sneak peak at the Village of Niles Holly Trolley
  • Experience the lighting of the beautiful Niles Christmas Tree
  • Food for sale (cotton candy for kids!)
  • Beer, soda, water and hot mulled wine
  • Salty snacks like popcorn and pretzels
  • Live music brought to you by the B Side Band
  • Niles Christmas Market
Vendors at the Christmas Market will sell all sorts of goodies including holiday ornaments, roasted nuts, poinsettias, and more!

The event free to attend, but food and beer can be purchased with CASH ONLY.

The Village's event partners include the Niles Park District, the Niles Chamber of Commerce, East Maine School District 63, and the Niles Public Library.
