Special Events Application

Any organization or business interested in hosting a special event must submit a Special Event Application to the General Government department. This includes:
Festivals
Sporting Events
5K Walk or Run
Tent or Sidewalk Sale
Expos
Concerts
Parades
Farmers Market

As of June 30, 2020: 

Applications will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Permits will only be issued if social distancing can be maintained and safety measures meet the State of Illinois and CDC requirements. 

For events related to Covid-19 including testing sites, use Special Event Form 2021-C
