Trip Cancellation Policy

- Fees for day trips are non-refundable within 10 working days of the trip if a replacement cannot be found. Please call and speak with a staff person and let them know you cannot attend the trip. We will do our best to find a replacement for you on the trip. If we are successful, you will be given a credit on your account or issued a refund check.

Art in Bloom

Don’t just see the art SMELL IT!  Gardening seminars, fashion show and an artisan marketplace at Art in Bloom where spring comes alive at the Milwaukee Art Museum.  Stunning art-inspired floral installations will be set among three floors of the Collection Galleries.  The museum will be filled with flowers, clothing, purses, jewelry, beauty products, garden accessories, local vendors and artisans.  We will be having lunch at the Harbor House overlooking the lake and city views.  The first course includes salad or soup with a main course selection 1) grilled chicken Caesar 2) burger with fries 3) steamed mussels in white wine broth 4) fried clam po'boy with fries.  After lunch a docent will step on board our bus for an hour guided tour of Milwaukee.  Before we head home we will stretch our legs for an hour at the Historic Third Ward which is known as Milwaukee’s arts and fashion district.  Here you will find the city’s largest mix of nationally and locally owned restaurants, spas, theaters, galleries, and boutiques all in a historic warehouse setting.

Transportation is on your own and an independent trip.  You will be meeting at Giordano's 9415 W. Higgins Rd, Rosemont, at 2:00pm.  The main course will be selected at the restaurant which includes 1) individual stuffed deep dish cheese, pepperoni or sausage pizza 2) Italian beef sandwich 3) toasted Italiano sandwich 4) mana’s meatball sub 5) chicken parmesan sandwich 6) spaghetti and one side selection Caesar or house salad, soup or garlic parmesan fries.  Beverages include a soft drink, coffee, tea or iced tea and cannoli desserts.  Then you will head over to Maine South High School 1111 S Dee Rd, Park Ridge, at 3:30pm for a 4:00pm performance.  A Chorus Line is a musical with music by Marvin Hamlisch, lyrics by Edward Kleban and a book by James Kirkwood Jr. and Nicholas Dante.  A Chorus Line provides a glimpse into the personalities of the performers and the choreographer as they describe the events that have shaped their lives and their decisions to become dancers.

Chicago Dogs Minor Baseball Team in Rosemont Community Event

Rosemont world-class stadium will be the home of the newest expansion team of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball, which is the largest and most successful independent minor league baseball league in the United States.  We have tickets seated in the infield box, nice and close to the action!  Tickets include soft drinks and a variety of food items that will be catered by the venue.  The Niles Senior Center is offering two different transportation options on your own or a bus service, pricing below.
