Performing for over 25 years, Jerry Armstrong has entertained crowds throughout the Midwest. His vocals are "dead-on", people can’t believe it’s his own voice. A singer impressionist, Jerry does tribute shows to timeless legends: Frankie Valli, Sinatra, Dean Martin, Neil Diamond, Elvis and many more. "America’s Sweetheart" was the star of two of the greatest TV series of all times. Yet her life was often difficult and her path to stardom was both entertaining and unique. Mary Tyler Moore’s talent was undeniable and her persona irresistible. We will follow her amazing life story and enjoy clips from her major works. Get Your Kicks on Route 66


This presentation will cover America’s favorite cross country road! Although it only exists now in memory and memorial markers, John Boda will cover the history of it, starting at Buckingham Fountain in Chicago, and go through each state ending at Santa Monica California. Many great pictures will be shown of each location, including at least one song performed at every stop in tribute to the various states and cities the road ran through on its 2000 mile journey. Of course, the great ending song will be "Route 66" with a visual montage on screen of all locations!      
Lunch will include a salad, lasagna, garlic bread, and dessert.

"Girls Just Like Us" Luncheon

The NSC welcomes back Laura Freeman, and her group to perform and celebrate the ladies of the 60’s: Leslie Gore, Petula Clark, Janice Joplin, Mary Wells, the Supremes, the Vandellas, Dionne, Dusty and more. When we talk about music from the 1960’s, most people think of Bob Dylan, the Beatles and Jimmy Hendricks, but that is really just part of the story! Music was changed forever with the birth of bubble gum pop. Suddenly the air waves were jumping with the sound of women!
