Human Services Committee

PURPOSE


The purpose of the Human Services Committee is to provide support to the works of the ongoing projects of the Senior Center, Family Services, Family Fitness Center and Teen Center. The Human Services Committee shall make suggestions for the amendment of the Village Code of Ordinances and to Advise the Senior Center, Family Services, Fitness Center and Teen Center.

On the Committee shall be a Trustee, the Family Services Director, the Fitness Center Director, Senior Center Director, Teen Center Program Coordinator, and one appointee. Appointments to this Committee, including the Trustee to act as the Chair, are made by the Village President with advice and consent of the Board of Trustees.

MEETING DATES & LOCATION


Village Hall – 1000 Civic Center Drive, Niles, IL 60714
Regular meeting shall be held at the call of the Chairman with no less than one meeting a quarter and no more than one a month.

Agendas are available prior to the meetings. All agendas are posted at Village Hall in accordance with the Open Meeting Act. Minutes are available following approval.
