GIS Steering Committee

The purpose of the GIS Steering Committee is to guide the Geographical Information Systems (GIS) of the Village of Niles in developing the data, tools and services for use by Village staff, residents and businesses. The GIS Steering Committee has two essential missions: to improve the availability, ease of use and accuracy of GIS products, and ensure efficiency in the development and delivery of those products. The GIS Steering Committee will also work in fostering the use and integration of GIS data, tools and services to find efficiencies in Village workflows, and promote effective spatial decision making.

MEMBERS - The Steering Committee is composed of primary stakeholders in the process and development of the GIS at the Village of Niles. These members may evolve as the priorities and direction of GIS at the Village evolves.
