The current food and beverage tax rate is 1%. This tax is imposed upon the purchase of prepared foods and alcoholic liquor at retail at any prepared food facility or alcoholic liquor facility within the Village. This tax was adopted by the Village Board in 2007 (Ordinance 2007-22).
