The NFD staffs and operates two Advanced Life Support (ALS) Ambulances that carry a range of state-of-the-art equipment allowing us to function as a mobile intensive care unit. Our ambulances are staffed 24 hours per day and we work in conjunction with the Advocate Lutheran General EMS System. All of our paramedics receive monthly training from highly qualified ALGH Staff who ensure we always have access to cutting edge skills, procedures, and information.
