Resources During COVID-19

Although the Niles Senior Center facility is currently closed, staff may be reached at 847-588-8420 during regular business hours of 8:30am-5:00pm Monday through Friday.

If you are a Niles resident and are in temporary need of a wheelchair, transport chair, walker or cane from the Lending Closet, please call to schedule an appointment.
The Niles Senior Center coordinates a short-term Meals on Wheels program for Niles residents age 60 and over who are homebound. Meals are prepared at Bella Terra in Morton Grove and are delivered on weekdays.  For more information, call the NSC.  The Meals On Wheels program continues as usual at this time, although meals will now be left on doorsteps instead of handed over directly to reduce person-to-person contact.
If you, a neighbor, or family member reside in Niles and are in need of resources or support, Niles Family Help Line can provide assistance and emotional support.  Please call 847-588-8460.
Information for residents is updated frequently on the Village's main website page at

COVID-19 Community-Based Testing Sites

The State of Illinois is opening its community-based testing sites to anyone to get tested, regardless of symptoms or other criteria. As we move through the Restore Illinois plan, and into a full reopening of the state, testing will be crucial to identifying new cases and taking immediate action to prevent additional spread.
