The Village of Niles is taking significant steps to ensure quality service and a commitment to excellence through an organization-wide performance measurement program. Performance measurement is the regular measurement and analysis of the results, outcomes, and efficiency of services and programs. The Village will use these measures as a public report card to ensure all Village services and departments are held to a high standard. Each department's "scorecard" below will be regularly updated, allowing residents to track the performance of Village services from home.
Performance measurement is also a best practice recognized by public administration and finance professionals as measuring and benchmarking performance is a critical component to improving service delivery. Annual reports for the Village of Niles can be found on the annual reports page, starting with May 2015.
