Niles Sister Cities since 2000

The Village of Niles and its sister city Leixlip, Ireland established a pact on October 8, 2000. Exploration of mutual interests began in 1998, when a delegation from Leixlip came to Niles for an exploratory visit.

Leixlip, Ireland is situated in North Kildare County, about 11 miles from Dublin City Center. Leixlip is a town of 15,000, the largest town in the County of Kildare and is noted for its historic architectural landmarks dating back to the 18th century.
