Historical Society - Living RoomAscending the winding staircase to the third floor, you will enter a typical living quarter of the 1900 period, found in an early farm house within our local area.

The LIVING ROOM has a 1908 five piece parlor set, a pump organ, an 1874 family Bible, an old photo album, a stereoscope, and many other artifacts.

The MASTER BEDROOM houses a beautiful brass bed, lovely old photographs on the walls, small personal items such as an eye glass, a parasol, and other small personal artifacts.

Historical Society - Childrens RoomThe CHILDREN'S ROOM has a junior size bed with flat woven wire springs and handmade children's quilts, a doll buggy dating back to the Civil War, a whalebone cradle, and stroller high chair.

The DINING ROOM is furnished with a complete dining room set and an 1890 knick-knack shelving unit.

As you enter the KITCHEN, you will notice the decorated border of Morning Glories stenciled on the walls and repeated on the sink skirt. There is a Duplex Alcazar coal burner stove, a Zook kitchen cabinet with an enamel working top that can be pulled out for more working space. The oak ice box stands in the corner, waiting for the ice man.
