As we climb the beautiful Oak Staircase to the second floor galleries, we observe in the hallways the exquisite chandeliers from the Niles V.F.W. Bunker Hill Country Club.

Historical Society - Ladies Attire - 1890'sThe SOUTH GALLERY contains the ever hanging showcases and vintages of the past. This area also serves as a large assembly room for our meetings and programs. The photo illustrates a snapshot of a vintage lady's attire of the early 1990's.

The NORTH GALLERY has several showcases exhibiting many artifacts of history of the life as it used to be in the surrounding areas.

The CHILDREN'S CENTER has two permanent exhibits of plants, animal fossils, mineral and rocks. The rest of the center deals with "WHAT IT WAS LIKE TO BE A CHILD IN THOSE DAYS," toys, dolls, books, games.
